Tomato, cucumber, onion, olives and feta cheese, dressed with olive oil and lemon. It is the Mediterranean formula that runs from the Aegean coast of Turkey down through the Greek islands — the same ingredients, more or less the same proportions, argued over by every country that touches that sea. The feta and olives are what turn it from a side dish into a meal: salt, fat and acidity in the same bowl.

How we prepare it at Anatolia Grill

We use good feta in proper chunks rather than crumbs, whole olives, and a dressing of olive oil and lemon. 249 CZK, the most substantial salad on the menu, and a reasonable vegetarian main course if you add bread and a meze.
