Two ingredients, one pan, and a smell that fills the room. Sucuklu yumurta is the Turkish breakfast dish people order without reading the menu.
What is sucuklu yumurta (eggs with sucuk)?
Sucuk is a dry-cured beef sausage seasoned with garlic, cumin, sumac and red pepper. It is firm and deeply spiced, and when it hits a hot pan it releases a red, fragrant fat that is the entire point of the dish. The eggs are cracked straight into that fat and cooked until just set, so every bite carries the sausage. It is served bubbling, still in its small copper pan, with bread to wipe it clean.
How we prepare it at Anatolia Grill
We slice the sucuk thick enough that it keeps its bite, render it properly so the fat colours the pan, then add the eggs and pull the dish while the yolks are still soft. It comes to the table in the pan it was cooked in, with warm homemade bread. 189 CZK, on the menu from 08:00 to midnight every day.
Take it home from Anatolia Meat Market
This is the dish our guests most often recreate at home, and they buy the sucuk for it at the Anatolia Meat Market next door — the same halal beef sucuk our kitchen uses, cut to the thickness you ask for. Fresh eggs from our own farm are on the same counter, so you can walk out with the whole dish in one bag.
From our own farm, not from a supplier
Anatolia Grill is part of Agro Řeřichy s.r.o., a Czech company that has been working in agriculture, meat processing and gastronomy for more than ten years. We breed our own lambs and fatten our own beef cattle at the farm in Rakovník, process them in our own slaughterhouse, and sell them in our own butchery in Prague — the shop right next to this restaurant. That is the reason the meat on your plate is traceable back to a single chain we control from start to finish.

Frequently asked questions
Where can I eat eggs with sucuk in Prague?
At Anatolia Grill Restaurant, Na Poříčí 1933/36, Praha 1 — every day from 08:00 until midnight.
Where can I buy Turkish sucuk in Prague?
At the Anatolia Meat Market next door to the restaurant. It is halal beef sucuk from our own production, and the staff will slice it for you.
What does sucuk taste like?
Firm, garlicky and warmly spiced with cumin and red pepper — closer to a Spanish chorizo in texture than to a soft breakfast sausage, but with a distinctly Turkish spice profile.
Is your sucuk halal?
Yes. It is made from beef that comes through our own farm and slaughterhouse, and everything we serve and sell is halal.
