About the author : Anatolia

The richest pide on our menu, and the one to order if you are sharing it across a table.

What is kaşarlı kuşbaşılı pide (diced meat and cheese pide)?

Adding cheese to a diced-meat pide changes what the dish is doing. The kaşar melts down into the gaps between the meat cubes and binds the topping into one surface, so instead of separate pieces of meat on bread you get a continuous, stretchy layer. It is heavier than the plain version and it holds its heat much longer, which is why it survives being cut up and passed around better than any other pide.

How we prepare it at Anatolia Grill

Cubes of our own seasoned beef with melted kaşar cheese, baked on hand-shaped dough until the cheese bubbles and the base crisps. 319 CZK. The plain diced-meat version without cheese is 299 CZK.

Take it home from Anatolia Meat Market

Both the beef and the kaşar cheese are sold at the Anatolia Meat Market next door — the meat from our own cattle, cut to order.

From our own farm, not from a supplier

Anatolia Grill is part of Agro Řeřichy s.r.o., a Czech company that has been working in agriculture, meat processing and gastronomy for more than ten years. We breed our own lambs and fatten our own beef cattle at the farm in Rakovník, process them in our own slaughterhouse, and sell them in our own butchery in Prague — the shop right next to this restaurant. That is the reason the meat on your plate is traceable back to a single chain we control from start to finish.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I eat diced meat and cheese pide in Prague?

At Anatolia Grill Restaurant on Na Poříčí, Praha 1, every day from 08:00 to midnight.

What cheese is used on Turkish pide?

Kaşar, a firm mild cow’s milk cheese that melts into threads rather than turning oily.

Which pide should I order for a group?

This one. The melted cheese holds the topping together and keeps the heat, so it travels around a table better than the others.

Is the meat halal?

Yes. It comes from our own farm and slaughterhouse.
