What is a döner sandwich?

Before the wrap became the international default, the sandwich was the Turkish street format: döner carved into soft round bread — a bun or half a loaf — with a little salad and nothing much else. It is deliberately plain. In Turkey the sandwich is what you eat standing at the counter, and the whole appeal is that the bread is soft enough to press around the meat and soak up what comes off it.

How we prepare it at Anatolia Grill

We carve our own beef döner to order and serve it in soft round bread. 289 CZK. If you want the same meat in thin flatbread instead, the wrap is the same price; on a plate with grilled vegetables it is 349 CZK.

From our own farm, not from a supplier

Anatolia Grill is part of Agro Řeřichy s.r.o., a Czech company that has been working in agriculture, meat processing and gastronomy for more than ten years. We breed our own lambs and fatten our own beef cattle at the farm in Rakovník, process them in our own slaughterhouse, and sell them in our own butchery in Prague — the shop right next to this restaurant. That is the reason the meat on your plate is traceable back to a single chain we control from start to finish.
